Hatha Yoga
It is not the goal while practicing the classical physical poses of the Hatha Yoga to achieve an acrobatic peak performance but to experience and accept one’s own limitations and to practice within one’s own possibilities at all times. The classical physical poses are chosen individually and eventually diversified – always in combination with the breath. All exercises are taught step by step in order to prepare the body with effortless exercises for the more advance poses. Special exercises of relaxation and counter poses help to eliminate eventual repercussions.
Vini Yoga
This is a therapeutical Yoga style originating from the Yoga center “Krishnamacharya” in south India by T.K.S. Desikachar. All exercises coming from the Hatha Yoga are being cautiously adjusted to the possibilities and needs of the participant. In addition there are breathing techniques but also concentration and relaxation techniques. The purpose of this Yoga style is to become slowly and with care more and more agile and to relieve pain (e.g. head aches, problems of joins or back pain).
Vinyasa Flow
A Yoga style designated to the more advanced Yoga practitioners with a good physical constitution. During Vinyasa Flow the individual basic poses of Hatha Yoga are being linked together to a flowing movement. This is why this creative style of yoga sequences is gracious and harmonious. In the process a special breathing is making sure the body will attain faster a certain body temperature. The intensified perspiration leads to the purification and cleansing of the body similar to a sauna session.
